Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 17, 2026

These Terms govern access to and use of SchoolHub by educational institutions and their users.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of SchoolHub by educational institutions (“Clients”) and their users.

By using SchoolHub, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services Provided

SchoolHub provides a cloud-based School Management System including:

Student Information Management
Attendance Tracking
Academic Management
Financial Management
Communication Tools
Reporting and Analytics

3. User Roles and Responsibilities

3.1 Schools (Clients)

  • Responsible for accuracy of data entered into the system
  • Responsible for obtaining consent from students, parents, and staff
  • Responsible for managing user access and permissions

3.2 End Users (Students, Parents, Staff)

  • Must use the system lawfully
  • Must not attempt unauthorized access
  • Must protect login credentials

4. Account and Access

  • Access is granted via secure authentication
  • SchoolHub may suspend accounts for security or misuse
  • Users are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality

5. Fees and Payments

  • Subscription fees are agreed upon with each institution
  • Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • Transaction fees from third-party providers may apply

6. Data Ownership

  • Schools retain ownership of their data
  • SchoolHub acts as a data processor
  • We do not sell or claim ownership of client data

7. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

  • Use the system for illegal activities
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the platform
  • Upload malicious content or software

8. Service Availability

  • We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Maintenance and updates may temporarily affect availability

9. Limitation of Liability

SchoolHub is not liable for:

  • Data loss caused by user actions
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Service interruptions beyond our control

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • Terms are violated
  • There is misuse of the platform
  • Required payments are not made

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.
